Pacific & Pasifika
Real projects. Specific contexts. Long relationships.
Identity, publication, food packaging, sport and community communication shaped around the particular organisation and audience—not a generic Pacific style.

Expertise · Auckland, Aotearoa and the Pacific
Vivid Icon has spent more than 25 years designing for businesses and organisations across Auckland, Aotearoa and the Pacific—from product brands and professional services to health, community and culturally diverse audiences.
The work changes by client, market and audience. The standard of design does not.

Design for the Aotearoa we live in
Auckland businesses rarely communicate to one simple audience. Our experience spans community, commercial, Pacific, product, professional and public-facing work—with the design response shaped by the actual audience, context and application.
Many businesses bring global identities, products and cultural influences into the New Zealand market. That breadth informs better questions; it does not turn cultural awareness into a visual style.
Where experience has been built
These are editorial groupings supported by structured project industries, disciplines and capability tags—not labels applied to clients.
Pacific & Pasifika
Identity, publication, food packaging, sport and community communication shaped around the particular organisation and audience—not a generic Pacific style.

Multicultural & Community
Listening, context, language, consultation and genuine relevance come before decoration. Multilingual content can be designed where supplied by the client or translator; translation services are not implied.

Health & Public-facing Communication
Health and community communication often requires readable hierarchy, accessible information, stakeholder feedback and consistent print, digital and environmental application. Vivid Icon contributes communication design—not clinical consultancy.

Food & FMCG
Experience across frozen foods, canned products, snacks, multi-SKU packaging and the digital shelf. Product hierarchy, variants and production constraints remain connected to brand recognition.

Growing Businesses & SMEs
Vivid Icon has grown alongside businesses moving from an early logo or informal marketing into a professional identity, first proper website, expanded product range, vehicles, premises and larger markets. Serious design is not reserved for corporates.

Commercial & Professional
Corporate, professional, manufacturing, construction and service work demands brand consistency, credible communication and production discipline. BPW demonstrates local implementation of an established global identity; Vivid Icon does not claim authorship of that identity.

Māori-focused communication
Vivid Icon does not present itself as a Māori design agency or substitute for cultural authority. Māori-focused communication can be supported within a process guided by the client, mana whenua, Māori stakeholders, cultural advisors or other appropriate Māori leadership.
Whenua Moana demonstrates design and communication contribution within a Māori and Pacific community health context; it is not used as blanket proof of Māori cultural expertise.
Structured relationships
Whenua Moana connects health, community and cultural communication. Uppers connects food, growing business, packaging and ecommerce. BPW connects commercial implementation, environmental applications and production.
The portfolio model records industry, disciplines, capability tags and manual editorial relationships. Expertise pages select from that evidence without duplicating projects or publishing a page for every internal tag.
