Project overview
An identity shaped for health communication.
Whenua Moana Health Collective serves Māori and Pacific communities through its health and wellbeing services. The available project material records Vivid Icon’s identity and communication work across guidelines, print, environmental and digital applications.
The visual system brings the organisation’s identity, service pathways and public-facing communications into a consistent format while retaining warmth and cultural care.
Design context
Clarity across services and settings.
The design had to carry detailed health information across clinic, community, print, signage and digital settings. Clarity and consistency mattered, alongside a human and culturally respectful character.
Design approach. A circular mark brings whenua, moana, people and hauora into a compact form. A grounded palette, accessible typography, modular patterns and service icons organise information without making communication feel institutional.
Core design system
A system for identity and communication
The guidelines establish logo variations, colour, typography, pathway lockups, graphic patterns and a practical icon family. These elements give different services a recognisable relationship while preserving one master identity.

Application
Made to work across community touchpoints
The identity is shown across clinic signage, reception spaces, mobile clinic graphics, brochures, appointment material, website direction and campaign content. Each application uses the same hierarchy and visual cues as formats change.
