Relevant experience includes producing monthly Samoan publications, supporting early branding development for Radio Samoa through Lui Ponifasio, and creating logo and branding work for Tonga Wrestling Federation through Vaka Lehauli.
Pacific communities are diverse. We begin with the particular audience, language, history, purpose and people responsible for guidance rather than applying a generic visual style.
View Pacific design experienceMāori-focused approach
We recognise Māori as tangata whenua and understand that culturally responsible design must be developed through meaningful partnership.
For Māori-focused mahi, we work with the client’s Māori leadership, mana whenua representatives, community stakeholders and approved cultural advisors. Our role is to listen, translate agreed direction into clear visual communication and maintain appropriate cultural review and approval points throughout the project.
A practical process
Clarify audience, context, stakeholders, outcomes and who can guide and approve cultural content.
Develop visual directions from the agreed brief and review them with the right representatives where required.
Refine hierarchy and accessibility while following the agreed language, imagery and narrative review process.
Release technically checked artwork after client and any agreed cultural approvals.
